Classes with Tanya Cusan-Espinosa  at Inkwell Arts in Chapel Allerton

Every Wednesday evening

Delivered by Tanya, who has over 20 years’ experience of delivering a professional and high quality teaching programme for everyone of us.

Tanya is a professional  performing artist from Cali -Colombia in South America; with a variety of skills that ranges from dance theatre to puppetry, maker and singer. Through her work Tanya   have introduced thousands of people not only to dance and theatre but to Latin American Culture. 

If you love dancing and want to learn to dance then this classes are for you… during the classes depending on the level, Tanya teaches people first to learn to move their bodies and then little by little she will introduced them to  a variety of steps , turns  and the rhythms that contributed to the creation of la salsa, so that after few years you can dance to any style and have fun!
You will start by doing the exercises on your own and then in partners.

Please notice that this classes are open to everyone , you don’t need to book them
 just turn up on the night and pay at the door and you don’t need a partner.

There is also a free car park outside the venue inkwell.

•Beginners salsa/merengue class 7 - 8pm (cost £5)
•Improvers/intermediate salsa class 8 - 9pm (cost £5)
•Intermediate/Advanced practice salsa  and other rhythms from 9 - 9.30pm (cost £3) 
At the moment we are looking at TANGO.
•1 hour class £5, 
•1 1/2 hour class £7
•2 hour class £9
If you only want to do the 30 minutes of Tango at the end of the evening the cost is £3.50

The beginners class, this class is a wonderful introduction to the basic steps of salsa and merengue first without a partner and then with a partner, developing an understanding on how to move your body, body isolations and exercises to help you conquer this, the classes are suitable for all levels and abilities, and you don't need a partner to join our classes.

Improvers/intermediate class, once you know how to move your body and the basic steps, we take you on to another level.
Exploring foot, turns and a variety of rhythms.

The intermediate/advanced class, for the last half hour , 40minutes of the evening, we look at a variety of rhythms, at the moment we are looking at TANGO.

I also teach many other rhythms such as bachata, cha cha cha, cumbia, mambo and many other styles to help you built a vocabulary of steps so that you can dance to any style anywhere.

All of the Classes are held at Inkwell Arts, 31 Potternewton Lane, Leeds, LS7 3LW with plenty of free parking at the venue.
